About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the definition and articulation of the Retailer Division Mission & Objectives
- Set the operating and strategic vision and direction for the Division
- Develop competitive strategy, sales, and marketing plans to achieve revenue objectives
- Meet or exceed annual revenue growth plans and profitability goals
- Grow market share by leveraging key accounts and winning new business in new markets
- Develop products, promotions, and merchandising materials to drive sales growth
- Implement pricing strategies to maximize margins and productivity
- Identify industry trends and maintain systems to track customer satisfaction
- Lead recruiting efforts for top talent and manage employee development programs
- Promote company culture and ethical standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Proven experience managing multiple retail locations
- Industry experience in home building products (flooring, granite, tile, etc.) preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to travel extensively for staff training, customer visits, and industry events
