For over a decade, IIX has been building the infrastructure for impact — structuring innovative financial instruments, running donor-funded development programs, and developing digital platforms that serve impact investors, enterprises, and communities across Asia and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and produce high-quality research on climate resilience, just energy transition, trade policy, and blue economy themes across Southeast Asia.
  • Develop policy briefs, white papers, and thought leadership content.
  • Build and manage senior-level relationships with government ministries, regulatory agencies, and intergovernmental bodies.
  • Represent IIX in policy dialogues, government consultations, and multilateral forums.
  • Lead or co-lead advisory mandates for government and multilateral clients.
  • Produce country, sector, and regulatory research to support investment screening and due diligence.
  • Monitor policy and regulatory developments across SEA markets.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in research, policy advisory, or government relations.
  • Significant exposure to climate, trade, or blue economy themes in Southeast Asia.
  • Background in Big 4 consulting, management consulting, or equivalent advisory environment.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging with government ministries or multilateral institutions (e.g., ASEAN, ADB, World Bank).
  • Deep familiarity with the Philippines is essential.
  • Fluency in English is required; Filipino or other Southeast Asian languages are an advantage.
  • Subject matter expertise in climate finance, trade policy, blue economy, or disaster risk management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with sustainable finance frameworks and impact measurement approaches.
  • Proven track record of producing research that informs institutional decision-making.
