Vice President, Project Finance

Responsibilities

• Oversee an existing credit portfolio including Project Finance, Infrastructure, Syndicated Loans, Energy, and Leveraged Lending
• Identify emerging risks within the assigned portfolio and perform ongoing credit reviews
• Monitor Problem Loans and Watch List accounts through regular and ad-hoc review processes
• Coordinate and communicate critical account information to business lines, product groups, and credit divisions
• Monitor maturing loans and credit lines to coordinate appropriate renewals
• Ensure strict compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements

Requirements

• 12+ years of total professional experience, with at least 10+ years in structured or leveraged finance
• BA or BS degree; Post Graduate Degree in Finance is preferred
• Professional qualifications such as CA or CFA are preferred
• Strong knowledge of credit analysis, risk management, and loan documentation
• Proficiency in financial modeling and complex financial calculations
• Understanding of the US regulatory environment (OCC, FRB)
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aviation finance or other structured finance such as securitization or leasing
• Knowledge of the Japanese regulatory environment (FSA, BOJ)
• Experience with administrative agencies or loan workouts
