Vice President - Product Owner – Real Estate Yardi Platform

Responsibilities

• Define the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for Yardi capabilities aligned to Investment Accounting and Multifamily priorities.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and delivery plans for Yardi modules and adjacent systems.
• Lead end-to-end delivery for Yardi modules, including discovery, design, testing, release readiness, and change management.
• Configure and administer Yardi security, workflows, chart of accounts, and multi-entity structures to meet audit requirements.
• Design and govern integrations between Yardi and downstream platforms using secure file exchange, ETL, and APIs.
• Build and enhance reporting using Yardi Standard Reporting (YSR) and SQL-based extracts.
• Apply AI and data-driven analytics to automate workflows and improve data quality.
• Mentor teammates on product thinking, analytical reasoning, and AI literacy.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on Yardi experience (Voyager and/or Investment Accounting) in production environments.
• Minimum 10 years of experience delivering enterprise technology in product management or business analysis roles.
• Deep domain expertise in Investment Accounting and/or Multifamily operations on Yardi.
• Proven experience leading at least one Yardi implementation, major upgrade, or multi-module optimization.
• Proficiency with Yardi reporting (YSR) and strong SQL skills for data validation and analytics.
• Experience identifying, prioritizing, and deploying AI/ML solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive alignment across global groups.

Preferred Qualifications

• Broader domain knowledge in real estate investment management, commercial mortgage, or private lending.
• Depth in Yardi areas such as Lease Administration, CAM, Debt, and multi-currency consolidations.
• Experience integrating adjacent real estate applications like ARGUS within an enterprise ecosystem.
• Proficiency with reporting tools such as Tableau and advanced Excel.
• Familiarity with modern delivery tools like Jira or Monday.com.
