Vice President, Product Marketing

Greenworks Tools is the leader in battery-powered outdoor power tools for DIY-consumers and landscaping professionals. The company distributes Greenworks branded and private label products, as well as products for an extensive network of Original Equipment Manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Implement global commercial and consumer product strategic plans in North America
• Lead product messaging, value proposition, merchandising, costing, and channel strategy
• Define product roadmaps with a tollgate process to meet specific timelines
• Develop pricing strategies to maximize sales and profitability
• Identify market opportunities for new product development in consumer and commercial markets
• Manage product P&L and ownership of the parts and accessory product line
• Collaborate with engineering and factory teams for new product launches
• Develop packaging and in-store product presentation tools
• Work within a global environment interacting with teams in Europe and China

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in multiple retail channels (Home Centers, Mass Merchants, Clubs, Hardware, etc.)
• Experience in both marketing and product management in North America
• 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience; MBA preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and remote communication tools
• Proven ability to manage and motivate high-caliber teams
• Experience building new processes and business plans
• Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel to accomplish key objectives
