Vice President, Product Management and Investor Relations

Responsibilities

• Drive fundraising and investor engagement by shaping campaign strategies and coordinating diligence workstreams
• Lead the development of the core narrative for Ares Private Equity strategies, translating investment philosophy into compelling messaging
• Create high-caliber investor materials including pitchbooks, private placement memoranda, DDQs, and quarterly communications
• Translate complex investment and portfolio insights into polished, investor-ready content
• Anticipate investor questions and prepare senior leadership for high-stakes interactions
• Identify and implement process improvements using data, technology, and AI to enhance deliverable efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record
• 7+ years of relevant industry experience, including 2-4+ years in private markets investor relations, product management, or fundraising
• Experience at a leading private equity firm, alternative asset manager, or top-tier financial services platform
• Demonstrated fluency in private equity or broader private markets, including investment strategy and portfolio performance
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce institutionally credible messaging
• High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and AI tools
• Series 7, 63, and SIE licenses, or the ability to obtain them following hire
