Vice President, Private Markets Insurance

Responsibilities

• Partner with US-based fund portfolio companies on insurance activities, including broker RFPs and leveraging insurer networks
• Lead the administration of portfolio-wide insurance solutions and provide benchmarking and analytics
• Coordinate insurance due diligence and representations and warranties insurance for acquisitions and dispositions
• Provide technical insurance support and industry trend analysis to investment and legal teams
• Maintain relationships with key insurance brokers and insurer partners
• Review and provide guidance on insurance provisions within contracts
• Monitor insurance policy data within centralized reporting systems and manage cost allocations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• 5-10 years of insurance experience, preferably supporting private equity or private infrastructure companies
• Strong knowledge of insurance coverages
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts to senior audiences
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Proficiency in using AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
