Vice President - Private Banking Lender

Responsibilities

• Interact with Private Client Groups and prospects to assess new loan requests
• Underwrite new loan requests and renewals through in-depth borrower due diligence and financial analysis
• Prepare in-depth credit memorandums and present transactions to oversight and approval committees
• Propose transaction structures that comply with credit and bank policy
• Prepare quarterly and annual reviews of all portfolio borrowers and ensure compliance
• Manage department reporting and distribution
• Ensure loan agreements are complete, accurate, and in compliance with policy
• Coordinate loan closings with outside attorneys
• Assist senior credit professionals in portfolio management and special projects

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of private client lending experience
• Demonstrated experience with complex financial statement and cash flow analysis
• Experience underwriting moderate to complex credit facilities
• Strong knowledge of private banking, commercial, real estate, and specialty lending
• Understanding of federal banking regulations and bank policies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Finance is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Coursework in financial analysis, credit analysis, accounting, and systems management
• Prior work experience in a premier private bank
