Vice President, Portfolio Management

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee credit aspects of a broad portfolio of public and private companies across the TMT sector
• Perform detailed credit, financial statement, and industry analysis including projection modeling and covenant compliance
• Lead coordination of loan booking, closing, legal documentation, and final credit memos
• Partner with senior bankers to prepare and present portfolio updates to senior leadership and risk management
• Collaborate with Industry Coverage, Leveraged Finance, and Risk Management to support client coverage and portfolio needs
• Mentor and train junior team members while ensuring adherence to all credit policies and procedures

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) Portfolio Management
• Strong financial statement analysis and accounting skills
• Deep knowledge of credit agreements, structures, and underwriting guidelines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and projection modeling
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
• Ability to complete SIE, Series 63 (or 66), and Series 79 registrations within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in deal execution or portfolio management specifically within TMT subsectors
• Experience in assessing and modifying complex projection models
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with clients and internal partners
