Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals and product roadmap
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high‑performing sales team including inside, field, and channel partners
  • Establish sales targets, forecasting processes, and performance metrics
  • Drive year‑over‑year revenue growth through direct sales and strategic partnerships
  • Oversee pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and deal structuring
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to align customer needs with development
  • Implement scalable sales processes and CRM best practices

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B sales
  • 5+ years in a leadership role
  • Proven success selling scientific instruments or analytical equipment
  • Experience managing global sales channels and distributors
  • Strong understanding of technical sales cycles and scientific end‑users
  • Excellent negotiation and executive‑level presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in rheology, fluid dynamics, or materials science
  • Experience in small‑company or startup environments
  • Track record of launching new product lines or expanding into new markets
