About the Company

Lavu is building the autonomous restaurant operating system of the future. We help profitable, high-growth restaurants run seamlessly and move money effortlessly, maximizing control, eliminating fees, and increasing profitability. Marty AI, powered by Lavu, is our new operational intelligence infrastructure designed to identify cash leaks and surface actionable insights for multi-unit restaurant groups.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full end-to-end sales cycle, from sourcing to closing.
  • Build the outbound engine including list-building, trigger-event sourcing, and outreach sequences.
  • Source your own pipeline from trigger events like CFO/COO hires and PE acquisitions.
  • Run discovery, anchor value to financial impact, and convert audit engagements to subscriptions.
  • Document win patterns and loss reasons to build the company's first sales playbook.
  • Provide feedback to the product team to shape future development based on market signals.
  • Recruit and hire your own sales team once the commercial motion is proven.

Requirements

  • Proven hunter with a history of self-generating pipelines.
  • Experience closing middle-market deals in the $100,000 to $300,000 ACV range.
  • Experience selling analytical products such as data, fintech, or business intelligence software.
  • Ability to translate data findings into financial impact for CFO/COO level buyers.
  • Strong written communication skills for high-quality outbound prospecting.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a zero-to-one environment without existing sales infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling into restaurant groups or multi-unit hospitality operators.
  • Background in restaurant tech (e.g., R365, Crunchtime) or BI platforms (e.g., Domo, Looker).
  • Experience in founder-led, pre-scale environments.
  • Existing network of CFOs, COOs, or multi-unit operators.
