About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage local Account Executives to meet or exceed station revenue and new business targets
  • Oversee advertising sales activities in the Denver market and control sales expenses
  • Translate market and station business strategies into actionable sales plans
  • Drive results through team performance management and accountability against business metrics
  • Recruit, hire, and provide ongoing training and in-field coaching for Account Executives
  • Prepare budgets, revenue forecasts, and manage advertising inventory for maximum profitability
  • Direct supporting functions including marketing, production, and sales operations
  • Build and maintain productive, long-term relationships with key accounts

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an Account Executive or Sales Manager in the media industry
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and finding new business opportunities
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to develop top-tier talent
  • Deep understanding of broadcasting, marketing, promotion, and local market competitors
  • Ability to create full-funnel marketing plans and strategic advertising solutions
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-pressure environment
