Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis

Responsibilities

• Architect and advance the financial model for real-time decision support and scenario planning
• Drive continuous improvement of FP&A planning infrastructure, systems, and tools
• Spearhead AI strategy and automation within the finance stack to streamline reporting and forecasting
• Own monthly and quarterly forecasting with rigorous variance analysis
• Lead the annual operating plan (budget) process and long-range planning
• Evaluate and recommend business model optimizations, such as Hardware as a Service
• Manage department budgets and headcount planning in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Own company-wide KPIs and deliver monthly/quarterly business reviews to senior leadership
• Develop board and investor materials for fundraising and diligence workstreams
• Scale, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, strategic finance, management consulting, or investment banking
• 5+ years in a leadership role
• Experience in B2B SaaS or combined software/hardware environments
• Proven track record in planning, forecasting, and reporting for companies of scale
• Hands-on experience with complex financial modeling and high-caliber visual presentations
• Ability to design and mature scalable financial planning processes
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred)
• Familiarity with US GAAP
