Vice President of Engineering

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve architectures for complex, multi-system application and data platforms
• Ensure systems are scalable, secure, observable, and maintainable
• Drive build vs. license decision-making and evaluate third-party platforms
• Actively contribute to codebase, architecture, technical designs, and code reviews
• Set standards for APIs, data models, infrastructure, and deployment patterns
• Mentor engineers and develop a strong leadership pipeline
• Champion AI and emerging technologies to accelerate development and improve workflows
• Establish data architecture standards and architectural principles

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience designing and building production software systems
• Deep experience with distributed systems, APIs, data platforms, and cloud infrastructure
• Mastery of JavaScript, Node.js, React, Express.js, and Next.js
• Experience with data platforms, dbt, Snowflake, or Redshift
• Extensive background in CI/CD automation and testing
• Proven experience leading and developing engineering managers
• Experience setting technical standards and architectural patterns across teams
