About the role
Responsibilities
- Build and own the full sales playbook including outbound motions, discovery frameworks, and demo narratives
- Design the channel mix across direct enterprise, mid-market, and partner/reseller segments
- Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing sales team
- Oversee existing inbound sales and Account Management teams
- Own annual revenue numbers and quarterly forecasts with board-level rigor
- Leverage CRM and sales automation tools to improve forecasting accuracy and deal velocity
- Partner with Product and Marketing to align roadmap and pipeline generation
Requirements
- 8+ years in B2B SaaS sales
- At least 3 years in a VP or Head of Sales role
- Success building or rebuilding sales functions in companies with $15M–$100M ARR
- Experience selling learning or HR technologies into enterprise markets
- Experience with both long-cycle enterprise sales and high-velocity mid-market motions
- Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with CLO, CHRO, COO, or CIO buying dynamics
- Experience selling early-stage or growth-stage products
