About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the regional business development and sales organization
- Direct sales and customer strategies across assigned regions to achieve targets
- Lead key account and strategic account implementation in tandem with global leaders
- Define and implement customer segmentation and training needs for the sales organization
- Establish and monitor KPIs to adjust business performance
- Develop territory business plans and manage quarterly net sales targets
- Collaborate with Site leaders and MDs to validate marketability of new products and services
- Identify new market opportunities and manage the DiscoveryOne and Partnership program pipeline
Requirements
- Graduate degree in a relevant technical/scientific or business discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in commercial development, strategy, and business development
- Proven business development management experience within CROs
- Demonstrated success in managing profitable growth and forecasting for multi-million dollar portfolios
- Strong understanding of competitive activities in CRO pre-clinical and clinical markets
