Vice President, New Business Development, Retail

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global new business development strategy
• Own new logo acquisition and expansion revenue goals, forecasting pipeline, and achieving bookings targets
• Lead strategic pitch meetings and proposals to secure new logos
• Cultivate and maintain deep, trust-based partnerships with executive leadership across prospective enterprise Retail accounts
• Build and refine sales playbooks for communicating and demonstrating value
• Own the pre-sales journey from initial discovery through deployment to long-term agreements
• Build compelling business cases for prospects that quantify value
• Monitor sales metrics and pipeline health closely

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in leadership roles within Enterprise Sales or Business Development
• Proven track record in new logo acquisition in retail or related technology
• Direct experience owning departmental bookings and pipeline goals
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence C-suite executives
• Deep experience selling enterprise technology solutions to Retailers
• Experience in a startup environment with a bias for action

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SaaS models
