Vice President - Multi-Asset Derivatives Trading

Responsibilities

• Lead execution on synthetic credit instruments, including CDS, CDX, iTraxx, credit index options, and total return swaps.
• Design and implement execution strategies for interest rate and FX markets, with a heavy emphasis on options trading.
• Support the in-house multi-asset overlay function by executing tactical and strategic asset allocation decisions.
• Assess optimal implementation routes across futures, swaps, forwards, and options, balancing liquidity, cost, funding, and margin usage.
• Monitor market liquidity, dealer balance sheet constraints, clearing costs, and cross-asset basis relationships.
• Provide timely market intelligence on global rates, credit, FX, and macro conditions to internal stakeholders.
• Maintain strong relationships with dealer desks, brokers, liquidity providers, and clearing counterparties.
• Ensure all trading activities comply with internal policies, risk limits, and best execution standards.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of relevant experience at an asset manager, hedge fund, sovereign wealth fund, or bank trading desk.
• Proven hands-on experience in global derivatives and options execution.
• Deep understanding of how derivative instruments differ from cash instruments regarding liquidity, funding, and collateral.
• Strong knowledge of ISDA, CSA, clearing, and margin processes.
• Ability to operate effectively across both developed and emerging markets.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior exposure to portfolio management or direct risk-taking responsibilities.
• Experience supporting dynamic asset allocation, overlay portfolios, or tactical macro strategies.
