About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide deep medical and scientific expertise across neuroinflammatory disease biology and immunology-driven mechanisms
- Lead Global Medical Affairs functions including Medical Affairs Operations and Medical Science Liaison (MSL) teams
- Partner with internal leaders to establish market access, pricing, and reimbursement strategies
- Maintain professional relationships with the external neurology expert community and patient advocacy groups
- Represent the company at advisory boards, congresses, symposia, and scientific forums
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and regulatory authorities to ensure ethical stakeholder interactions
Requirements
- Advanced degree (MD, PhD, or PharmD) preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of Medical Affairs experience in biopharma
- Significant experience in Neurology, specifically neurodegenerative or neuroinflammatory diseases
- Prior experience supporting product launches in Neurology
- Established network of neurologists and clinical experts
- Proven leadership experience in a multi-functional matrix environment
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and international regulatory requirements
- Experience in finance, budgeting, and resource management
