Vice President, Marketing

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the U.S. marketing strategy for the initial vaccine launch, including brand positioning and go-to-market planning.
• Develop differentiated value propositions grounded in clinical data and public health impact.
• Design and execute integrated omnichannel engagement strategies across HCP, payer, and patient audiences.
• Build and lead a high-performing marketing organization, including scaling teams and establishing agency partnerships.
• Implement marketing operations infrastructure, including project management systems and digital asset management.
• Champion the integration of AI and emerging technologies into marketing workflows to improve efficiency and decision-making.
• Partner cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Market Access, and Government Affairs to ensure compliant and effective communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive marketing experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
• Significant experience in vaccine marketing.
• Proven track record of leading U.S. pre-launch and first-launch marketing efforts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building a marketing organization in a pre-commercial or first-launch biotech environment.
• Track record of leading omnichannel marketing strategies integrating digital and field-based promotion.
• Familiarity with AI/ML applications in marketing, such as content generation and predictive analytics.
• Experience managing complex agency rosters and marketing vendor ecosystems.
• Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with Medical and Legal/Regulatory teams in a compliant environment.
• Experience driving commercial demand through DTC, disease education, or unbranded awareness campaigns.
