Vice President, Loan Officer

Responsibilities

• Originate bridge, acquisition, and construction loans focused on manufactured housing communities
• Build and maintain a network of brokers, capital advisors, and referral partners
• Evaluate MHC opportunities including sponsor quality, asset performance, and market dynamics
• Structure loan terms, pricing, and credit narratives
• Collaborate with Credit and Underwriting teams to analyze financials and risk
• Prepare and present loan approval packages to internal stakeholders
• Lead the preparation and delivery of Letters of Intent (LOIs)
• Manage the full transaction lifecycle from screening through closing
• Track pipeline activity and borrower interactions within the CRM
• Support portfolio management including renewals and extensions
• Represent the company at industry events and conferences

Requirements

• 5+ years of lending or real estate finance experience specific to manufactured housing communities
• Demonstrated experience working with sponsors, owners, operators, or intermediaries
• Strong understanding of MHC-specific underwriting, operations, and regulatory factors
• Experience negotiating loan documentation with legal counsel
• Proven ability to structure and close complex real estate transactions
• Strong financial analysis and credit evaluation skills
• Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment
