About the Company

Setpoint provides purpose-built capital and technology to asset-backed borrowers and lenders. Our platform is the funding operating system for originators: it verifies and stores documents, automates critical calculations and compliance reporting, and digitizes assets like homes or cars.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the General Counsel, Head of Sales and SVP of Growth to oversee all legal aspects of customer documentation and capital markets technology products
• Draft and negotiate SaaS and other customer agreements
• Review and negotiate documentation in connection with our technology platform services and our Capital Solutions team
• Keep up to speed with industry trends and legal and regulatory market changes

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience drafting and negotiating capital markets and finance agreements, including asset backed facilities
• JD degree from a top tier law school
• Admission to the New York bar in good standing
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
