Vice President, Lead Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage a diversified portfolio of commercial real estate loans and investments within the Real Estate Banking platform
• Analyze and underwrite new loan opportunities using market research, client data, and third-party information
• Review and recommend approval or denial for loan requests, lease approvals, collateral releases, and loan modifications
• Perform in-depth sponsorship and property-level financial analysis and market research
• Collaborate with senior portfolio managers and coverage bankers to optimize relationships and execute deals
• Interface with customers to identify needs and maintain strong professional relationships
• Work with outside counsel, internal compliance, and loan closing teams to finalize modifications and new loans
• Conduct quarterly and annual portfolio reviews to identify potential risks or concerns
• Perform property tours and site visits as required

Requirements

• 5+ years of Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Management experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and dynamic spreadsheets
• BS/BA degree or higher
• Ability to travel as needed
• Ability to work on-site in accordance with office requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with various facility types including construction, term, bridge, and lines of credit
• Knowledge of diverse loan structures such as recourse/non-recourse and mezzanine financing
• Experience with commercial property types including multifamily, retail, industrial, and office
• Demonstrated leadership in coaching, training, and mentoring team members
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
