Vice President - Lead Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate loans, including single-family builder lines and multifamily projects
• Analyze and underwrite new loan opportunities using market research, client data, and third-party information
• Review and make recommendations for loan requests, collateral releases, and loan modifications
• Perform in-depth sponsorship and property-level financial analysis and market research
• Collaborate with senior portfolio managers and coverage bankers to optimize relationships and deal execution
• Conduct quarterly and annual portfolio reviews to identify potential concerns and risks
• Interface with customers to identify needs and maintain strong professional relationships
• Lead complex initiatives and mentor peers within the Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Management functional area
• Review and approve construction loan draws and conduct property site visits

Requirements

• 5+ years of Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Management experience
• BS/BA degree or higher
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced accounting and finance functions
• Ability to travel domestically
• Ability to work in the office a minimum of 4 to 5 days per week

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with various facility types such as construction, term, bridge, and lines of credit
• Experience with recourse/non-recourse and secured/unsecured loan structures
• Knowledge of specific property types including Single Family Build for Rent and Multifamily projects
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
