Vice President Issuer Services

Responsibilities

• Oversee the administration and safekeeping of Global Bonds as Common Depository, ensuring timely processing of interest letters and payments
• Manage the end-to-end process for new issue closings, coordinating with internal teams and external parties for accurate documentation and settlement
• Supervise day-to-day operations of MUFG Programme management and SPV Issuance programmes, including corporate action events and fund settlements
• Act as Principal Paying Agent by overseeing safe settlement of funds and as Calculation Agent for floating rate notes (FRN bonds)
• Liaise with Euroclear and external dealers as Issuing Agent to set up ISINs for new bonds
• Administer taxation requirements as Taxation Agent by submitting correct amounts to tax authorities on behalf of issuers
• Supervise and develop a dedicated team of professionals through regular feedback and query management
• Produce detailed periodical reports to support transparency and informed decision-making

Requirements

• Proven experience in an issuer services or bond agency role within financial services
• Demonstrated expertise in handling, analysing, and interpreting diverse data sets with high accuracy
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and Graphs
• Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail under tight deadlines
• Experience managing teams and fostering a collaborative environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders
• A degree or equivalent qualification is preferred
