Vice President, Investments & Portfolio Management

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new investments for institutional investors across multiple property types
• Prepare discounted cash flow models including complex waterfall fee structures
• Analyze investment opportunities in operating companies, separate accounts, and funds
• Evaluate potential investment partners based on track records and financial structures
• Manage institutional client and investor relationships
• Review existing assets including performance reporting, hold/sell analyses, and capital plans
• Prepare reports and presentations for the Investment Committee and clients

Requirements

• 9-13+ years of experience including internships or work study programs
• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, or economics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and analysis
• Demonstrated knowledge of commercial real estate underwriting and valuation
• Experience managing junior team members
• Ability to manage multiple projects under various time constraints

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with senior housing and multifamily assets
• Strong quantitative analysis skills
