Vice President for Growth and Advancement

Responsibilities

• Develop and advance institutional strategies to support sustainable enrollment growth across undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs.
• Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive university advancement strategy, including annual giving, major gifts, and planned giving.
• Utilize data analytics and competitive intelligence to identify new recruitment channels and student markets.
• Partner with the President and senior leadership to execute strategies for engaging major donors and securing transformational gifts.
• Manage a portfolio of high-capacity donors and prospects, overseeing cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
• Strengthen alumni engagement and build strategic relationships with community, corporate, and foundation partners.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for staff to foster a high-performance, results-oriented culture.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited institution in higher education administration, business administration, marketing, communications, public administration, or a related field.
• Ten (10) years of progressively responsible leadership experience in enrollment management, student recruitment, admissions, advancement, or closely related areas.
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing enrollment and advancement strategies that support institutional goals.
• Proven experience using data and analytics to inform decision-making and improve outcomes.
• Experience collaborating across functions within a complex organizational structure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in institutional advancement, development, or external partnership engagement.
• Experience working with corporate, foundation, or community partners.
• Experience aligning enrollment strategies with financial aid, student success, or access initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional leadership environment.
