About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute safety, business, growth, and customer experience objectives through departmental strategy and KPI alignment.
- Own the company’s mergers and acquisitions program, including pipeline management, negotiation, and integration.
- Develop and document field and inside sales strategies focused on revenue growth, contract optimization, and product penetration.
- Drive team performance and accountability to exceed departmental expectations linked to the company’s financial plan.
- Act as the escalation point for internal and external customer issues, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
- Train, coach, and provide leadership to direct reports to achieve departmental goals.
- Provide accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts for revenue, bookings, activation, and acquisitions.
- Lead complex negotiations across multiple call points within the company and customer organizations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales leadership or high-value customer sales.
- Proven experience in B2B sales.
- Strong financial acumen to guide investment and expenditure decisions.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel approximately 25%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the foodservice or industrial gas industry.
- Documented track record of successful recruiting and team building.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret complex customer contracts.
