Vice President, Estimating

About the Company

S&B USA is a leading infrastructure solutions company specializing in the development and construction of complex infrastructure projects, particularly through Alternative Delivery Partnerships. The company offers comprehensive services including project development, general contracting, and post-construction operations and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a geographically dispersed estimating organization
• Identify and develop bid-winning strategies aligned with company objectives
• Manage the pursuit pipeline and provide go/no-go recommendations
• Oversee all estimating activities for Bid-Build and Alternative Delivery projects (Design-Build, CM/GC, and P3)
• Ensure accurate and high-quality estimates, proposals, and supporting documentation
• Partner with Operations, Project Controls, and Business Development to develop integrated estimates
• Lead client engagement during pursuits and manage surety interactions
• Establish and improve standardized estimating processes and controls

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 10+ years in preconstruction experience
• Minimum of 5+ years in construction or operations
• Proven track record leading estimates for infrastructure projects exceeding $100 million
• Experience with Alternative Delivery models (Design-Build, P3/Concessions)
• Proficiency with HCSS HeavyBid or comparable heavy civil estimating platforms
• Strong leadership and communication skills
