Vice President, Environmental, Health & Safety

Responsibilities

• Lead the Universal City Studios EHS organization by developing and implementing safety strategies and standards across studio, warehouse, and office settings
• Implement consistent application of enterprise-wide EHS policies, procedures, and goals in compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations
• Coach, mentor, and lead business EHS teams to ensure training and development needs are met
• Enhance environmental and safety performance through defined and measurable metrics, KPIs, and analytics
• Lead accident and injury investigations in collaboration with the Global Security Team and communicate recommendations for prevention
• Build strong relationships with business leaders to advise on EHS matters and highlight priorities
• Manage EHS budgets and vendor contracts for studio operation needs
• Provide compliance guidance on processes, equipment, and environmental matters

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of Environmental Health and Safety experience within a large corporation with a diverse portfolio
• Minimum 10 years of experience successfully leading a corporate EHS team
• Proven experience navigating a highly matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders and departments
• Deep knowledge of local, state, and federal OSHA and EPA rules, regulations, and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a media or entertainment company
• Advanced degree in safety management, industrial hygiene, or occupational/environmental health
• Proven track record of influencing senior leadership and building consensus in fast-paced environments
• Experience with financial analysis, business case presentation, and budget oversight
