Vice President, Energy Infrastructure Lead, EMEA

Responsibilities

• Lead the EMEA energy and utility strategy for Ada Infrastructure, supporting the data centre portfolio.
• Oversee the entire power lifecycle from site selection through project energization and ongoing operations.
• Collaborate with site selection managers to ensure timely and cost-effective power procurement.
• Drive sustainability initiatives, including setting renewable energy targets and reducing carbon footprints.
• Manage strategic relationships with utilities, regulators, and energy technology providers.
• Lead negotiations for power purchase agreements (PPAs) and other complex energy contracts.
• Provide regular market intelligence briefings and SME guidance to executive leadership.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to align energy strategies with business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, energy management, business, or a related field.
• Proven track record in energy delivery within the infrastructure space in EMEA.
• Extensive experience negotiating complex energy contracts and power purchase agreements.
• Deep understanding of EMEA energy markets, regulations, and emerging technologies.
• Strong financial acumen, including experience with budget management and financial modeling.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate with C-level executives.
• Strong analytical skills to translate complex market data into actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
• Extensive experience in energy management or utilities specifically focused on data centres or large-scale infrastructure.
• Experience driving large-scale sustainability and renewable energy initiatives.
• Familiarity with data center operations and specific infrastructure requirements.
