Vice President, Emerging Markets EMEA

Responsibilities

• Lead philanthropic strategy and execution in emerging markets within EMEA, focusing on the Business Growth & Entrepreneurship pillar.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop regional portfolios using grants, thought leadership, and employee engagement.
• Design, plan, and execute grants by sourcing partnerships, conducting due diligence, and performing risk analysis.
• Manage live grants to ensure funded work is delivered, monitored, and impact is measured effectively.
• Develop compelling narratives and materials to communicate philanthropic outcomes to internal and external audiences.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with senior internal business leaders and Corporate Responsibility colleagues.

Requirements

• Technical expertise in economic development, including employment, small business growth, or financial health.
• Proven experience in program development, implementation, or policy.
• Strong understanding of the nonprofit sector and grant-making processes, including the ability to assess organizational capacity.
• Ability to independently formulate strategy and present complex ideas to senior executives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Ability to navigate a highly-matrixed organization and operate effectively under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of the emerging market funding ecosystem, including development finance organizations and local regulations.
• Familiarity with financing mechanisms such as blended finance instruments.
