Vice President, Development, EMEA

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of newly purchased sites from the point of acquisition through to the commencement of construction.
• Manage the overall site development schedule for both greenfield and brownfield sites.
• Coordinate with the Energy Manager to ensure power applications are completed and delivery timelines are met.
• Act as the primary point of contact for statutory bodies and general site inquiries from site selection through construction start.
• Oversee development tasks including rezoning requests, power and permitting applications, and site maintenance agreements.
• Collaborate with design and delivery teams to design proposed buildings, select long-lead equipment, and secure contracts with general contractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in site development or project execution.
• Technical understanding of data centers and the key components required to bring sites to the delivery stage.
• Proven experience in business or finance.
• Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills.
