Vice President, Data Science

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the in-house data science team responsible for AI product performance
• Set technical direction for methodologies, algorithms, and experiments
• Maintain a hands-on approach by contributing to technical work and code
• Act as a spokesperson for data science to internal stakeholders and external customers
• Define data science strategy for AI Agents and customer experience products
• Scale the organization by hiring and structuring high-performing teams

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in data science or AI applied research
• Extensive experience with LLMs, agentic architectures, and RAG systems
• Proven ability in model fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and orchestration
• Expertise in large-scale data collection and curation pipelines
• Proficiency in Python, cloud-native environments, and ML Ops tooling
• Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred, or Master's with significant industry experience) in a quantitative field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with commercial and open-source model ecosystems (OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, etc.)
• Demonstrated success in turning data insights into measurable business outcomes
• Experience engaging directly with customers to translate needs into model improvements
