Vice President - Data Governance

Responsibilities

• Support the firmwide rollout and execution of the Critical Investment Data (CID) Governance Policy.
• Partner with COOs, delegates, and data owners to implement governance policies, standards, and operating models.
• Build influential relationships across the federated data governance network to align priorities and drive execution.
• Run data governance forums and working groups to review policy activation, compliance, and risks.
• Support the deployment of governance capabilities, data taxonomy, and tools across federated groups.
• Collect and report governance metrics for senior leadership.
• Develop and deliver training programs to drive data literacy and compliance.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in data governance, enterprise data management, or enterprise technology.
• Minimum of 2 years of active uniformed service.
• Less than 5 years of civilian work experience.
• Proficiency with SQL and Python.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and investment workflows.
• Experience working in Agile environments and with large-scale data platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
