About the role
Responsibilities
- Define and own the enterprise vision, strategy, and roadmap for data, AI/ML, and central platforms.
- Lead enterprise platform engineering, including architecture, modernization, and shared services.
- Oversee ML Operations (MLOps), data operations, and platform Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to ensure resilience and availability.
- Manage FinOps practices to optimize cloud costs and align investments with enterprise outcomes.
- Establish and govern enterprise standards, policies, and controls for data and AI platforms in alignment with security and compliance.
- Lead and inspire global engineering and product teams, fostering a culture of inclusion and continuous learning.
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture and business leaders to define reference architectures and ensure value realization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Progressive leadership experience in data platforms, AI/ML platforms, and enterprise engineering at a global scale.
- Deep experience building and operating MLOps, data operations, and platform SRE capabilities in complex enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to define platform strategy, operating models, and investment priorities.
- Expertise in agile delivery, modern engineering practices, DevOps, and reliability engineering.
- Strong ability to lead through influence in highly matrixed environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial services or the insurance industry.
- Familiarity with enterprise data strategy, AI enablement, or large-scale digital transformation programs.
- Understanding of lean delivery and modern operating models.
