Vice President, Cybersecurity Engineering

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical owner and subject-matter expert for core security platforms including endpoint, identity, email, SaaS, and cloud security tooling
• Lead the design, rollout, and tuning of security controls across Microsoft Defender, identity protection, CSPM, and threat detection platforms
• Drive the evaluation and implementation of autonomous and semi-autonomous response capabilities
• Partner with cloud and platform engineering teams to integrate CSPM, workload protection, and SaaS security controls into production environments
• Act as a technical advisor to leadership and develop reference architectures for security and business enablement
• Identify control gaps and automation opportunities to drive continuous improvement in security engineering

Requirements

• 8-10+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with EDR, identity protection, email security, or CSPM
• Proven experience designing and operationalizing automated or autonomous security controls
• Strong understanding of cloud security concepts (Azure preferred) and SaaS security models
• Bachelor's degree, relevant technical training, or equivalent hands-on experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the Microsoft Defender ecosystem
• Familiarity with CSPM tools such as Wiz
• Experience partnering closely with SOC, Incident Response, and platform engineering teams
• Professional certifications such as CISSP
