Vice President, Country Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall operations within the BELUX region, ensuring alignment with global and regional strategic objectives.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth, profitability, and market share.
• Oversee business development initiatives, including market expansion, product launches, and new VAS/CMS solution revenue streams.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, regulatory bodies, and government agencies.
• Represent Visa externally as a primary influencer within the payments industry and the broader fintech ecosystem.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing, diverse team across sales, product, marketing, and merchant functions.
• Manage the regional budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.

Requirements

• 15+ years of professional experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD).
• Minimum of 10 years in a senior management role, preferably within the BELUX region.
• Extensive experience in commercial or sales leadership within the payments industry or adjacent technology sectors.
• Proven track record of developing and executing business strategies to meet challenging financial targets.
• Strong understanding of the BELUX market, including regulatory requirements and industry trends.
• Exceptional leadership, people management, and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in English, French, and Dutch.
• Ability to navigate complex, global matrix organizations.
