About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead a global, multi-layered accounting organization across disciplines including close, consolidation, external reporting, technical accounting, and revenue accounting.
  • Oversee the global close and consolidation process to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness across all entities.
  • Lead the execution of external reporting, including SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q), ensuring compliance with US GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage complex technical accounting areas such as equity, M&A, strategic investments, and capitalized software.
  • Oversee accounting for M&A and strategic transactions, including due diligence, purchase accounting, and integration.
  • Drive transformation by championing the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI and advanced automation, to improve efficiency and strengthen controls.
  • Partner with the Chief Accounting Officer and executive leadership to manage external audit relationships and ensure strong governance.

Requirements

  • CPA required.
  • 18+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
  • Proven experience leading large, global, multi-layered accounting organizations within a public company environment.
  • Deep expertise in financial reporting, technical accounting, internal controls, and M&A.
  • Demonstrated track record of improving operating models, simplifying processes, and leveraging technology.
  • Ability to operate effectively at both a high strategic level and a detailed operational level.
  • Strong experience within the technology industry.
