About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the engagement leader for compensation consulting projects and handle client communications
  • Participate in business development efforts and develop engagement letters
  • Develop short- and long-term incentive plan recommendations
  • Conduct research via external sources and internal databases for compensation benchmarking
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to clients through written memoranda and presentations
  • Review work produced by junior team members and provide feedback
  • Support enhancements to the annual Real Estate Compensation & Benefits Survey
  • Drive continuous improvements to teamwide processes, templates, and databases

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience, ideally in commercial real estate, private equity, or financial services
  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in a business-related field
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate fundamentals, capitalization, asset classes, and GP/LP structures
  • Experience working directly with C-suite executives
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including financial modeling and summary statistics
  • Strong PowerPoint skills for executive-level presentations
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication skills
