Vice President, Communications

Responsibilities

• Lead the Green Thumb Communications team, including internal communications, corporate communications, employer brand, and investor relations
• Develop and implement a corporate communications strategy to protect and enhance the organization's reputation
• Partner with executive leadership to align and articulate business priorities
• Oversee an annual editorial calendar for employees, investors, government, and consumers
• Lead communications for M&A, earnings, social impact, and strategic partnerships
• Manage Investor Relations, including earnings releases, quarterly calls, and annual reports
• Build culture and employee engagement through robust internal communications plans
• Support executive communications, including talking points and strategic business updates

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in corporate, executive, and crisis communications
• Experience in media relations and internal/external communications
• Public company experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree required
• Proven track record of implementing successful corporate communications strategies
• Experience managing communications for both corporate and consumer brands
• Ability to manage communication agencies
• Strong storytelling, writing, editing, and presentation skills
• Must pass all required background checks
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Must be approved by state badging agency for the cannabis industry
