About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic direction and execution of the neuroscience clinical development portfolio from early to late-stage
- Collaborate cross-functionally with discovery research, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, and clinical operations
- Drive the preparation and management of regulatory filings including BLA/NDA and MAA
- Analyze and communicate clinical data to guide development strategy
- Establish strategic relationships with key opinion leaders and external stakeholders
- Manage clinical trial budgets, timelines, and resources
- Present clinical progress and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
- Identify and mitigate potential risks in clinical development timelines and regulatory pathways
Requirements
- MD or MD/PhD with board certification in Neurology, Neuroscience, or a related field
- 15-20 years of experience in clinical development with a focus on CNS indications
- Proven leadership in designing and executing clinical trials from early to late-stage
- Senior or executive level leadership experience in biotech or pharma
- In-depth knowledge of global regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA)
- Experience in Health Authority meetings and writing briefing books
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with regulatory submissions and clinical trial oversight in biotech/pharma
- Familiarity with emerging trends and therapeutic modalities in neurology
