Vice President, Claims Management

Responsibilities

• Lead global claims management operations, ensuring offshore services meet or exceed agreed SLAs and KPIs.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, addressing queries, escalations, and managing large-scale international client relationships.
• Drive end-to-end automation opportunities and process improvement initiatives, including the adoption of AI and robotics.
• Manage people, performance, and talent differentiation, fostering a culture of accountability and professional development.
• Oversee commercial acumen, including budget management, financial planning, and driving unit cost improvements.
• Partner with global stakeholders, including technology, change management, HR, and client relationship teams.
• Embed a risk excellence culture by facilitating audits, regulatory reviews, and managing process risks.

Requirements

• 20+ years of experience in financial services, currently in a leadership role managing large-scale operations.
• Proven expertise in trade lifecycle management, cash management, and reconciliation.
• Extensive experience in large-scale operations leadership and managing complex, global teams.
• Strong background in change management, including sponsorship and leadership of strategic initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability in budget and financial management to achieve efficiency and cost-saving targets.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and executive presence skills to influence senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience managing operations for a variety of financial products and custody services.
• Knowledge of both Middle Office (MO) and Back Office (BO) processing.
• Experience with automation tools such as AI and robotics.
• Existing market connections with brokers and custodians to accelerate turnaround times.
