Vice President & Chief Information Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Spearhead the multi-year strategic plan for information and cloud security, integrating predictive AI defense strategies.
• Architect proactive, intelligence-driven risk forecasting models and security risk management processes.
• Oversee departmental budgets, personnel, and policy with full accountability for performance results.
• Serve as the ultimate subject matter expert for security issues, including AI governance and space/ground-station asset protection.
• Orchestrate incident response and business recovery plans to safeguard critical global services.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to ensure security and compliance postures exceed industry standards.
• Partner with legal and procurement to ensure information security requirements are included in vendor contracts.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant work experience and 8+ years of leadership experience.
• Deep understanding of networking and web application architecture.
• Experience with the operations and security facets of cloud environments, specifically AWS and GCP.
• Experience with enterprise risk management frameworks and implementing SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certifications.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security topics to diverse audiences.
• Proven track record of leading diverse teams and managing departmental resources effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of modern adversarial AI attacks, model poisoning, and LLM supply chain vulnerabilities.
• Prior or current government security clearance.
• Experience in government national security or red team operations.
• Track record of architecting multi-year security roadmaps that anticipate technology disruptions.
