Vice President, Capital Markets & Project Finance

Responsibilities

• Lead capital markets strategy across equity, structured debt, tax equity, and project-level financing vehicles
• Structure and negotiate credit facilities, non-recourse loans, and infrastructure-backed securities
• Source and manage relationships with institutional investors, banks, and infrastructure funds
• Lead debt and equity placement efforts, including tax credit monetization
• Align funding timelines with development, construction, and scaling milestones
• Analyze capital markets conditions, interest rate trends, and investor appetite
• Optimize portfolio leverage and cost of capital strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
• 8–12+ years of experience in capital markets, project finance, or investment banking
• Demonstrated track record of raising and structuring institutional capital for energy or infrastructure assets
• Deep expertise in financial modeling, credit analysis, and securities structuring
• Experience managing cross-border capital flows and tax equity structures

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA, CFA, or CPA certification
• Experience with renewable energy tax credit financing (ITC/PTC)
• Knowledge of green bonds, climate finance, or ESG-linked capital markets
• Familiarity with federal and state funding programs (DOE, DFC, C-PACE)
• Experience working with multilaterals, sovereign wealth funds, or DFIs
• Advanced Excel and capital structuring tools
