Vice President, Canadian Business Banking

Responsibilities

• Set and execute market strategies to achieve ambitious growth targets across assigned portfolios
• Lead and coach a team of Relationship Managers to deliver on client acquisition, retention, and revenue growth
• Build and expand relationships with key industry partners, associations, and centers of influence
• Proactively identify and convert new business opportunities through targeted prospecting and strategic networking
• Champion an integrated approach by collaborating across lines of business to deliver holistic client solutions
• Inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture of accountability and inclusion
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and operational standards while maintaining strong risk management practices
• Provide market insights and recommendations to senior leadership to shape business priorities

Requirements

• 9+ years of progressive and relevant experience, including business development or financial services leadership
• Proven track record of driving sales growth and leading high-performing teams
• Strong business acumen with expertise in financial analysis, strategic planning, and market development
• Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills with senior leadership, clients, and partners
• Ability to navigate complex organizations and foster collaboration across multiple business lines
