Vice President, Business Relationship Manager (Transaction Banking)

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary "single front door" for Transaction Banking technology, process improvement, and transformation demands within the Asia region.
• Translate complex business needs into clear project scopes, expected outcomes, business value, and prioritized demand items.
• Partner with Transaction Banking leadership and IT to align strategic objectives with prioritized technology initiatives.
• Manage the operations demand pipeline, service backlog, and initiative inventory to ensure alignment with investment planning and portfolio priorities.
• Drive operational efficiency by leveraging AI, data, workflow tools, and existing enterprise platforms to shape improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with AI & Data, Architecture, and Risk/Compliance teams to prioritize and operationalize data use cases.
• Assess existing capabilities and shared platforms to promote reuse before pursuing external vendors or bespoke solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in financial services with a strong background in Transaction Banking (Payments, Cash Management, or Trade Finance).
• Proven expertise in project management, operations controls, and driving digital transformation or regulatory change.
• Deep knowledge of market products including payments, deposits, and loans, as well as front-to-back operations processes.
• Demonstrated experience bridging the gap between business and IT teams to translate requirements into actionable business cases.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to orchestrate alignment between regional teams, vendors, and Head Office.
• Solid understanding of investment planning, budgeting, cost-benefit analysis, and project governance.
• Exceptional analytical and communication skills to explain complex issues to senior management and technical teams.
