Vice President, Business Information Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic information security leadership and oversight across regional business units, bridging global strategy with regional execution.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business and technology units regarding security risks, control implementation, and digital transformation.
• Develop and oversee security awareness programs, including phishing simulations and targeted learning interventions.
• Establish and maintain a regional security champion network to promote local ownership of security best practices.
• Translate global security objectives into actionable EMEA programs, including the development of KRIs, KPIs, and executive dashboards.
• Manage regional security budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
• Act as the primary point of contact for IT Security related audits, managing readiness, evidence coordination, and remediation.
• Lead and manage a team of direct reports, focusing on talent development, performance management, and skill requirements.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in information security, technology risk, or related disciplines within the financial services sector.
• Deep knowledge of regulatory and industry standards including FFEIC, SOX, COBIT, NIST, CRI Profile, and ISO.
• Professional information security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.
• Proven experience managing teams and building effective partnerships with senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of technical security domains including SIEM, Vulnerability Management, IAM, and the Defence in Depth model.
• Experience with Cloud Security and a solid understanding of privacy legislation such as GDPR and the Data Protection Act.
• Degree education or equivalent professional experience.
