About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage a defined territory to generate sales, develop new business, and manage existing client relationships for Dynamic Funds.
  • Establish long-lasting relationships with financial advisors through one-on-one, group, and branch meetings.
  • Develop and execute a strategic annual business plan, reviewing progress quarterly to increase territory sales.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to the assigned Inside Sales Representative (ISR) through continuous coaching and feedback.
  • Schedule and host industry events, roadshows, and manager meetings.
  • Segment the client base to define service levels and ensure sales across various distribution channels.
  • Utilize CRM systems to data mine and document all client interactions and meeting information.
  • Present new products, business building ideas, and tax-planning strategies to advisors.
  • Manage the regional budget, including expenses, co-op requests, and promotional allocations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of sales experience.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in territory management.
  • Completion of CSC (Canadian Securities Course) and/or IFIC (Investment Funds in Canada) certification.
  • Proven experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively to meet client needs.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Enrollment in or completion of an industry designation program such as CIM, CFA, or CFP.
  • A proven track record of progression into roles with increasing responsibility within the financial services industry.
