Vice President, Business Development

Responsibilities

• Manage the business development program for a specific vertical in partnership with the SVP and Head of Growth
• Lead high-value strategic business development opportunities from qualification through pitch delivery
• Build and coordinate integrated teams across Orchestra companies and practice areas
• Lead business development strategy including shaping proposal voice, tone, and differentiators
• Track, monitor, and report on pipeline activity, revenue trends, and market insights
• Analyze industry and communications trends to identify growth opportunities
• Serve as a strategic advisor and coach to client teams and practice leaders
• Leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve business development efficiency
• Support Growth team management, including capacity planning and professional development
• Maintain qualitative and quantitative business development reporting

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience, preferably in an agency setting
• Experience in business development and directing new business strategies
• Experience developing sharp, tailored proposals
• Excellent project management and multitasking skills
• Strong writing and research skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in public relations
• Experience working at a firm or agency
